Terms

Terms for the public Kordra website.

These terms govern your use of kordra.io. They are not the terms for a Kordra Music account, subscription or Kordra Studio.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Kordra is the trading name of Godsall.Dev, an independent software company based at SIU Offices, 4 - 6 Greatorex Street, London, E1 5NF, United Kingdom. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Kordra” mean Godsall.Dev trading as Kordra.

These terms apply when you visit or use the public website at kordra.io, including its Journal and Knowledge Base. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. The company site is informational

This site introduces Kordra and its products, and provides public articles, reference material, contact routes and optional email updates. It does not create a Kordra account, sell a subscription, process payment, or promise that a product will be released, available on a particular date, or have particular features.

Kordra Music is provided on music.kordra.io. If you use that product, its applicable service information, account terms, prices and privacy information apply to that use. Kordra Studio is a separate native macOS app; this website’s terms do not govern use of the app.

3. Using the site

You may use the site for lawful, personal or internal business purposes. You must not interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape or harvest the site at a scale that impairs it, or use the site in a way that infringes another person’s rights or breaks the law.

We may suspend, restrict or withdraw access where reasonably necessary to protect the site, our users or our rights, or to maintain or improve the site.

4. Content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the site’s text, design, images, logos, trade marks, Journal articles and Knowledge Base content are owned by or licensed to Kordra and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may view, share a link to and make reasonable personal reference to that material. You must not reproduce, republish, sell, create a competing database from, or otherwise commercially exploit it without our written permission, except where the law allows it.

Kordra and its product names, logos and branding are our trade marks or trade names. Third-party names and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners; mentioning them does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

5. Knowledge Base and product information

Our articles, prompts, recipes, Blueprints and other reference material are general information and creative guidance. They are not professional, legal, financial, medical or technical advice, and may not suit every tool, workflow or situation. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, following the terms of any third-party platform you use, and obtaining advice where you need it.

We aim to keep public information accurate and useful, but the site may contain errors, omissions or material that becomes out of date. We may change, remove or update content and product descriptions at any time.

6. Third-party sites and services

The site links to Kordra Music, social platforms and other third-party websites. Those services are outside our control and have their own terms and privacy practices. A link is provided for convenience and is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability or how third parties handle your information.

7. Email updates and contact

If you opt in to company updates or Studio news, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by contacting us. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle enquiries and email subscriptions.

Please do not send confidential, commercially sensitive or legally privileged information through the public contact form unless we have asked you to do so and agreed a suitable method.

8. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, loss arising from your business use of this free public site, or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. The site is provided on an “as available” basis.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the site, our business or the law. The updated version will be published here with a new “Last updated” date. Please check this page when you return to the site.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections available in your place of residence. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@kordra.io.
